Capitol Tunes is Back and Better Than Ever! Thank you Oneonta High School Singers!
The Alabama Institute for Education in the Arts, along with the Alabama State Department of Education and the Alabama Music Educators Association is proud to sponsor our annual Capitol Tunes series, where talented students from across the state perform for the State Legislature in Montgomery, AL!
On Thursday, February 5th, our first musical group was the Oneonta High School Singers, led by Choral Director Allison Carrol, who are proud to be the first program from Blount County to perform at Capitol Tunes! They sang several pieces including the Star Spangled Banner arranged by Jamey Ray, The Word Was God by Rosephayne Powell, and the Oneonta High School Alma Mater, among other great works. The Oneonta High School Singers would like to thank the sponsors for helping them to perform in our State’s Capitol.
Congratulations to the Oneonta High School Singers for a wonderful show!
