The Artistic Literacy Consortium of Alabama and Creative Generation Collaborate to Increase Access to Arts Education for Alabama’s Students
October 1, 2020 The Artistic Literacy Consortium of Alabama and Creative Generation are pleased to announce their new partnership to conduct strategic planning for the statewide collective impact initiative with the goal of increasing student access to arts education across Alabama. This project will focus on team and culture building, leadership development, and visionary planning, including 3-5 year goals, strategies, measurable outcomes, SWOT analysis, and a possible revised mission. As a result of the National Endowment for the Arts’ Education Leadership Institute, Alabama embarked on a journey to establish a statewide plan for arts education. Creative workers are an essential component of getting communities back on their feet financially, socially, and emotionally. They now have over 700 endorsements from all across the country, and are hoping to show strong, unified support for a creative workforce program to both of the Presidential campaigns and to the current Administration and Congressional officials. The document compiles 15 different, specific… Read More »Putting Creative Workers to Work
