Watercolor Bootcamp
The Alabama Institute for Education in the Arts invites you to attend WATERCOLOR BOOTCAMP AIEA is thrilled to offer this special workshop for our participating schools and teachers. Join us for this exciting and unique opportunity! This is a skill building session for educators who would like to learn about painting with watercolor. We will cover the basic techniques and how to apply them in a painting. We will experiment with creating textures from household materials. Charles Burchfield (1893- 1967) will be our focal artist with his paintings of the seasons, landscape, and weather. Gain confidence in your watercolor painting so you can instruct your students and have fun! Leave with lesson ideas to connect visual arts to your curriculum. All supplies provided.
